When home and school need a shared plan

Start with a teacher email template, meeting questions, and a one-page student support plan. Review one skill over two weeks.

The CLEAR Method

Correct the story before correcting the student. Learn the pattern. Encourage effort, strategy, and recovery. Make accountability small and visible. Use reminders that teach independence.

Three home routines

The two-minute launch: name one task, open the correct page, choose a tiny first action, and begin. The evening reset: check tomorrow’s schedule, prepare materials, charge devices, and write a visible first task. The weekly preview: look at commitments together and plan the next step.

A conversation script

When the student is overwhelmed: “I can see this feels like too much. Do you need help getting calm, getting clear, or getting started?”
